Shannon Sharpe criticized Tom Brady for avoiding shaking Jared Goff’s hand

Tom Brady was quick to flee the field Monday night when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers fell, 27-24, to Jared Goff and the Los Angeles Rams.

Rather than shake his fellow quarterback Goff’s hand, as is customary in the NFL, Brady walked straight to the locker room. Goff was waiting at midfield, but Brady never arrived.

This isn’t the first time Brady has snubbed an opposing quarterback following a frustrating loss. He avoided Philadelphia Eagles QB Nick Foles after Super Bowl LII and again after the Buccaneers came up short against Foles and the Chicago Bears earlier this season.

“Undisputed” co-host and Pro Football Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe was quick to blast Brady for his decision.

“I guess Brady doesn’t know Goff well enough to shake his hand after losing,” Sharpe tweeted late Monday night. Yet, he knows every qb after he wins. Brady is full of what the elephant left on the show ground. His attitude is bulljive and it’s time to call his A** out on it.”

Sharpe has spoken negatively of Brady before, saying last season that he’s tired of him winning and that he wasn’t the reason they made the playoffs, among other tirades.

Brady and the Buccaneers are currently 7-4 on the season. In primetime, Brady is 1-3 and has thrown five touchdown passes and five interceptions.
