About her: Ellery Hollingsworth, 22, is hoping to make her first US team for the Olympics after narrowly missing qualifying in 2010. The Darien, Conn., native rode for the Stratton Mountain School and was the first woman to land a 1080. She has ridden at two X Games competitions, in 2009 and 2012, and was ranked No. 7 in the 2013 World Snowboard Tour Rankings. Hollingsworth competed at the FIS World Championships in 2007 and has seven top-10 finishes at the FIS World Cup since 2005.
Decision time: US Snowboarding will announce its team Jan. 22.
