The Revs ended a disappointing season with a quality goal

Things haven’t gone to plan for the New England Revolution in 2017, but the finale still ended on a high note.

Revs midfielder Kelyn Rowe scored a last-gasp wonder goal to secure a 3-2 win over the Montreal Impact in the team’s final game of the 2017 season. While New England won’t be in the playoffs, at least Rowe’s strike provided a nice conclusion.

In the 96th minute, Rowe – a substitute – pushed forward towards Montreal’s goal before unleashing a swerving shot that swept into the back of the net. It gave New England the lead (and ultimately the win).
