Rex Ryan’s outspoken nature has extended beyond the football field. The Buffalo Bills coach introduced Donald Trump at a rally in Buffalo on Monday, and expressed his support for the Republican presidential candidate.

“We’re all here tonight because we all support Donald Trump, and some things that I want to say –” Ryan said, and paused as the crowd cheered. “There’s so much that I admire about Mr. Trump. One thing that I admire about him is, he’ll say what’s on his mind. You’ll see people that want to say the same thing, but the big difference is they don’t have the courage to say it. They all think it, but they don’t have the courage to say it. And Donald Trump certainly has the courage to say it. That’s the courage that I respect, and you know what? So do the people of New York.”

Ryan also has always had the courage to make bold promises, like a Super Bowl guarantee in 2015. Of course, he didn’t keep his Super Bowl promise, and later admitted he was getting ahead of himself.
