Boston Renegades dominate to win first women’s football title

The Boston Renegades dominated the undefeated Los Angeles Warriors, 42-18, Saturday night at Atlanta to win their first Women’s Football Alliance Division 1 Championship.

After squandering an undefeated season with a loss to the Dallas Elite in the title game a year ago, the Renegades (8-2) came into this year’s championship focused on finishing.

Despite a few miscues on the opening drive, the Renegades struck first on a touchdown reception by Chanté Bonds to take a 7-0 lead — which they never relinquished.
