Nike’s new advertisement featuring Colin Kaepernick has blown up social media since its release on Monday, polarizing both consumers and fans. On Wednesday, Kaepernick tweeted the full version of the ad along with the same caption from the reveal on Monday.

Kaepernick tells viewers to “believe in something, even if it means sacrificing everything,” which is a less-than-subtle hint at Kaepernick’s own actions during his time in the NFL.
Kaepernick is not the only familiar face in the ad.
Serena Williams, LeBron James and Odell Beckham Jr. are a few of the familiar faces that viewers will recognize, but there are plenty of other inspirational athletes, too– take a look at legless wrestler Isaiah Bird or wheelchair-bound basketball player Megan Blunk. The Nike ad showcases these athletes doing their thing, while Kaepernick’s voiceover serves as a reminder that “crazy is not an insult; it’s a compliment.”
The video is set to air before Thursday night’s NFL season opener featuring the Atlanta Falcons and the Philadelphia Eagles.
