Stanley Cup takes a tumble with Michael Ryder

It was Michael Ryder’s turn with the Stanley Cup today, and the former Bruins forward brought it to his hometown of Bonavista, Newfoundland, where there was a parade and a public viewing of the Cup.

It was at that viewing that things got a little bit hairy for the Lord Stanley’s prize. On a clearly windy day, Ryder placed the Cup on a table, and it proceeded to take a dive worthy of P.K. Subban.

“First dent of the day,” Ryder cracked.
