Sunday Ryder Cup singles pairings

Singles

12:03 p.m.: Bubba Watson (2-1) vs. Luke Donald (1-2). Bubba will have the crowd involved, but Donald’s a Chicagoan and will have his share, too.

12:14 p.m.: Webb Simpson (2-1) vs. Ian Poulter (3-0). Simpson gets perhaps the toughest draw, trying to slow Poulter, who is 3-0 in Ryder Cup singles.

12:25 p.m.: Keegan Bradley (3-0) vs. Rory McIlroy (2-2). Great opportunity for Bradley against the world’s top-ranked player. He’ll relish the chance.

12:36 p.m.: Phil Mickelson (3-0) vs. Justin Rose (2-2). Can Mickelson win without Bradley? Rematch of ’08 singles, won by Rose.

12:47 p.m.: Brandt Snedeker (1-1) vs. Paul Lawrie (0-2). Big spot for Snedeker; Lawrie won his only other singles match in ’99.

12:58 p.m.; Dustin Johnson (1-1) vs. Nicolas Colsaerts (1-2). If you like long drives, this is the only match you’ll want to see.

1:09 p.m.: Zach Johnson (2-1) vs. Graeme McDowell (1-2). McDowell is 2-0 in singles, beating Stewart Cink (’08) and Hunter Mahan (’10).

1:20 p.m.: Jim Furyk (1-1) vs. Sergio Garcia (1-2). Not a good matchup for Furyk, who is 1-5-1 against Garcia at the Ryder Cup — but the win came in ’99 singles.

1:31 p.m.: Jason Dufner (2-1) vs. Peter Hanson (0-1). Despite being a rookie, Dufner should have the edge, based on his strong play this week.

1:42 p.m.: Matt Kuchar (2-0) vs. Lee Westwood (1-2). Westwood is just 2-5 in singles and hasn’t played well here at all. Kuchar will be expected to win.

1:53 p.m.: Steve Stricker (0-3) vs. Martin Kaymer (0-1). Two struggling players buried near the end of the lineup, where their match might not mean anything.

2:04 p.m.: Tiger Woods (0-3) vs. Francesco Molinari (0-2). These two faced off in singles two years ago, a match won by Woods. He should win again.
