Revolution to Host Watch Parties for MLS Cup
On Sunday at 3 p.m., the New England Revolution will take on the L.A. Galaxy at the StubHub Center in Carson, Calif. in their fifth MLS Cup. Revs fans hope that by the end of the match, they’ll hold the Phillip F. Anschutz Trophy high for the first time in franchise history.
If you decide to don the red, white and blue, and are looking for a place to watch the game, the Revolution are hosting watch parties in bars around New England for fans to gather and cheer.
The official club party is at The Banshee (934 Dorchester Avenue, Boston), where the festivies will start at 2 p.m.. Revs girls will be on hand throughout the day to give away prizes to fans.
If you’re outside Boston, GPub in Providence, R.I. (61 Orange Street), and Ri Ra locations in Burlington, Vt. (123 Church St.), Portland, Maine (72 Commercial St.) and Portsmouth, N.H. (22 Market Square) will also be hosting parties for fans to watch the game.
This is the third time the Revs will be taking on the Galaxy in the MLS Cup, losing both previous times in 2002 and 2005.
