Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band announced the initial U.S. dates for their 2023 international tour on Monday, and Boston will see an appearance from the legendary singer in March.
Springsteen will bring his band to TD Garden on March 20, one of 31 U.S. shows scheduled prior to a European tour run that has already sold more than a million tickets.
Springsteen wrapped up his last U.S. tour with the E Street Band at Gillette Stadium in September of 2016, a four-hour show that resulted in a hefty fine for the stadium after Springsteen broke the town’s concert curfew.
The 2023 shows will mark the band’s first tour dates since February 2017, when Springsteen and the E Street Band played in Australia and New Zealand.
The tour will be using Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan platform for tickets sold via Ticketmaster. Tickets for the Boston date go on sale Wednesday, July 20.
