They’re a brother-and-sister duo who both went to Harvard, and they’re bringing their brand of rock and roll to the City Winery stage on June 23.

The duo – Jocelyn Arndt sings, and Chris Arndt plays guitar – spent their time off from school playing concerts and recording music, according to the Cape Cod Times. They’ve also played South by Southwest, among other festivals.

The duo brought their music to the 443 in Syracuse, New York back in February, according to Nippertown.

“Jocelyn could barely contain her excitement at finally being back on stage, often bouncing around in her seat on the couch while discussing the duo’s new music and what they’ve been working on during the pandemic,” the publication wrote in a review.

“If you want to hear a powerful voice, look no further than Jocelyn Arndt,” Nippertown continued. “Her rich, soulful voice leaves you no choice but to focus on her. She doesn’t just sing with her voice. She channels it from deep inside, using her entire body to project her power throughout the room.”

The duo’s new album, “Favorite Ghosts” is planned to be released on May 27, according to NYS Music.

“We all have these memories or parts of ourselves that, on the surface, are uncomfortable or make us feel lost,” they wrote in a release. “But when you put all those things together, you get the things that actually make you yourself. This album is about coming to terms with the ugly parts of ourselves and learning that they, too, are us. They’re our favorite ghosts.”
