Catch a film (or two or three) at the Nantucket Film Festival

More than 60 films will be screened during the six days of cinematic celebration.

The 27th Nantucket Film Festival returns to the island’s Dreamland Theater and the ‘Sconset Casino for screenings and events that celebrate the art of screenwriting and storytelling. More than 60 films will be screened (think documentary, features and shorts, both fiction and nonfiction), and the festival’s signature programs return to much fan fare, including the Screenwriters Tribute, Garden Series, Late Night Storytelling, Afternoon Tea Talks with notable guests, and the Morning Coffee panel series with attending filmmakers. Some events get you up close with experts in the field for behind-the-scenes discussions, complete with cocktails, wine and snacks, while free Community Events, such as the new Teen View Showcase presentation of shorts produced by the Nantucket High School students, bring together those sharing their common love of films.
