All aboard The Polar Express at Cape Cod Central Railroad, which transports riders from Buzzards Bay to the “North Pole” every holiday season. During the 1 ½ hour journey, riders can wear Christmas jammies if inclined, just like in the classic story. As the music from the motion picture soundtrack plays, the waitstaff and chefs dance and perform to Christmas carols while guests are served hot chocolate and freshly baked cookies (which are sealed and individually wrapped). Santa and his elves greet passengers at the North Pole and each child receives a sleigh bell and souvenir golden ticket. The train runs on select days between Nov. 26 and Dec. 23.
