The architecturally iconic 1891 SoWa Power Station will transform into a local marketplace for the 6th Annual SoWa Winter Festival, billed as the biggest winter shopping village and holiday festival in Boston. Visitors can sip cocktails, wine, and craft brews of the season while shopping for handcrafted gifts. The events are family-friendly and include food, activities, galleries, artist studios, and shopping. There will be 100 vendors showcasing handmade items and specialty foods, so visitors can browse for holiday gifts while sipping festive beverages. SoWa stands for “South of Washington” and spans the area from East Brookline Street to East Berkeley Street and from Shawmut Ave to Albany Street. Visitors can check the event website for hours and events.
