In conjunction with Harvard Square’s Brattle Theater, Cambridge’s newest outdoor spot, CX, brings family-friendly outdoor movies this summer to its Maria Baldwin Open Space.
Guests have two opportunities to enjoy the evening shows under the stars. The movies will play June 30 (with a rain date of July 6) and July 28 (with a rain date of August 3). The double feature movie nights begin at 5 p.m.
Here’s the schedule:
June 30: “Moana” (PG) at 5:30 p.m. and “School of Rock” (PG-13) at 7:30 p.m.
July 28: “Encanto” (PG) at 5:30 p.m. and “Mrs. Doubtfire” (PG-13) at 7:30 p.m.
During intermission, guests can buy snacks from nearby food trucks. Each movie ticket earns earns visitors a free popcorn and water while supplies last, provided by the East Cambridge Business Association (ECBA).
These double-feature events are BYOC (bring your own chair), as there is a limited supply available. Walk-ups are also welcome.
