The fun will be frightful at Busch Gardens’ Howl-O-Scream in Tampa, Fla.

TAMPA — Celebrating its 13th year, Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens is luring unsuspecting visitors to explore the terror behind the gate to the “Dark Side of the Gardens.’’

The popular theme park will be overgrown with sinister surprises, including haunted houses, scare zones, spine-tingling live stage shows, and devious creatures lurking at every turn. Ride adrenaline-fueled coasters — including Florida’s first triple-launch coaster, Cheetah Hunt — in the dark and try to steer clear of things that go bump in the night.

For those who manage to work up an appetite while exploring the 335 acres of frightful fun, don’t miss Fright Feast, a most deranged dinner show.
