The temperatures may be climbing, but JetBlue is already thinking ahead to ski season.
Logan Airport’s largest carrier announced Monday that it will again offer nonstop seasonal service to Steamboat Springs, Colo. from Boston beginning Dec. 14. The airline initiated the seasonal service from Logan Airport last year.
“Just as the world-famous champagne powder starts falling in Steamboat, JetBlue will once again touch down with our award winning service in one of the top ski destinations in the U.S.,” said Andrea Lusso, director of route planning for JetBlue, in a press release. “For JetBlue customers in the east craving a taste of skiing in the west, our flights make a winter getaway easier than ever.”
Passengers will be able to fly on a A320 aircraft on Wednesdays and Saturdays through spring 2020, according to the release. The flights will service Yampa Valley Regional Airport in Hayden, Colo., which is 30 minutes from downtown Steamboat Springs.
JetBlue will also again offer seasonal, nonstop flights to Steamboat Springs from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Seats are currently on sale for both routes.
