Logan International Airport’s average security-check wait time is shorter than most other major U.S. airports, according to a study released earlier this month.

Upgraded Points, a website that provides information about travel and credit cards, examined data from the Transportation Security Administration for the country’s 25 busiest airports in 2018. Logan Airport ranked No. 3 with an average wait time of about 10.6 minutes, which was just slightly slower than No. 2 Washington Dulles International Airport, which had an average wait time of 10.5 minutes.

“The best time to go through security at Logan Airport is Thursdays at 10 – 11 p.m., where you’ll only wait around 3 minutes, whereas the worst time is Friday at 5 – 6 p.m., where you’ll wait a whooping 45 minutes,” according to the study.
