If you book your ticket by Sept. 27, you’ll save 35 percent off destinations across the Northeast for travel between Nov. 1 and Feb. 29 during Amtrak’s “Winter Wonderland Sale.” You can snag the deal aboard Amtrak’s Acela, Northeast Regional, Downeaster, reserved sections of the Pennsylvanian and Keystone Service, Vermonter, Maple Leaf (within the U.S. only), Empire Service, Adirondack, and Ethan Allen Express.

The deals include a one-way ticket from Boston to Portland, Maine, for $19 and from Boston to New York for $39. Also, a seat on the Acela Express from Boston to New York (business class and coach seats only) will cost you $79. The deal is good for one adult fare, and the same discounted fare is available in both directions.
