A Boston rink with a harbor view is among the best ice skating spots in the nation, according to Yelp.
Yelp recently named Steriti Memorial Rink among the top 20 skating rinks in America. The indoor rink in Boston’s North End ranked No. 17 on the list. The No. 1 rink on the list is Winter Lodge in Palo Alto, California.
Steriti Memorial Rink, which is managed by the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR), is typically open from November to March and offers skate rentals and a snack bar. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, it’s a good idea to check skating rink websites before visiting. Public skating at DCR-managed rinks this season is to be determined, according to the department.
Nestlenook Farm Victorian Recreation Park, in the White Mountains, will welcome skaters this season, and you can check out COVID-19 guidelines and state travel restrictions before you go. There is public skating this season at The Providence Rink, and you can review the COVID-19 guidelines, as well as the Rhode Island travel restrictions.
Yelp comprised the list by identifying skating rinks with a large concentration of reviews mentioning relevant keywords and then ranked the rinks using factors such as total volume and ratings of the reviews. A maximum of two rinks per state were allowed to ensure geographic diversity.
