Man pleads not guilty in Billerica home invasion

A Wilmington man who fled to Florida after allegedly participating in a violent home invasion in Billerica in February was arraigned Thursday on several charges in connection with the incident, authorities said.

Sean Larson, 24, and three other men allegedly broke into the home on Feb. 20, and a 49-year-old man was shot multiple times, according to the office of Middlesex District Attorney Gerard T. Leone Jr. The man survived the attack.

Larson was arrested in June in Palm Beach and pleaded not guilty Thursday in Lowell Superior Court to charges including armed assault with the intent to murder and armed home invasion, Leone’s office said. Larson was ordered held on $250,000 cash bail and is due back in court on Tuesday for a pretrial conference.
