For the weekend, a sunny start and a soggy end
Finally! The humidity of the past few days has come to an end.
Today and Friday, the dewpoint will be in the 50s – meaning that humidity is markedly lower than Wednesday, the National Weather Service
Coupled with mostly sunny skies and afternoon highs around 80, the weekend should be off to a pleasant start.
Saturday should see similar conditions, but by early morning Sunday – at any point from midnight to 2 a.m. – it will start to rain and keep coming down until Monday morning, said Eleanor Vallier-Talbot, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service.
Occasional heavy downpours are expected, Vallier-Talbor said, and there could be a couple of thunderstorms.
Temperatures will be cooler, too, with highs in the mid-70s.
Clouds and showers are expected again on Monday. But Tuesday and Wednesday skies are expected to clear.
