Mass. gas prices fall 7 cents a gallon

The average price of gas in Massachusetts was $3.669 a gallon in the latest weekly AAA survey, down 7 cents from the previous week’s average, AAA Southern New England said today.

That average has fallen 9 cents over the last two weeks, AAA Southern New England said.

The current national average is $3.59 a gallon. A year ago at this time, the Massachusetts average price was $2.68 a gallon, AAA Southern New England said.

AAA surveys focus on self-serve, regular unleaded gas.
