In a press release, Boston-based Arnold said that it will be launching an integrated marketing campaign that includes digital, TV, and print ads for the start of the upcoming National Hockey League season.
Billings for the account are not being disclosed.
“There is a huge creative opportunity in developing work for the greatest hockey organization on the planet. Arnold has many passionate Bruins fans, myself included, who are thrilled to work with the Bruins brand,’’ Arnold Worldwide chief creative officer Pete Favat noted in a statement. “We have a lot of great ideas already in the works and we are gearing up to develop platforms that will get fans pumped for the new season.’’
The agency notes that it has sports marketing experience, having created ads for the Miami Dolphins football team as well as for the US Open Tennis Championships. Arnold also did a series of Super Bowl spots for ESPN.
Other Arnold clients include Fidelity Investments, Jack Daniel’s, New Balance Athletic Shoe Inc., Progressive Insurance, and Volvo.
Mullen, another large Boston ad agency, had previously done some work for the Bruins.
