Singer Javier Colon expects to know a lot of people in the audience when he performs at the Hatch Shell as part of MixFest on Saturday. Colon, who won the reality show “The Voice’’ earlier this year, lives near Hartford, but his wife’s family is from New Bedford. He and his wife also spent a few years living around Boston before heading to Connecticut. “We are extremely connected,’’ Colon told us this week, of his family’s ties to the Hub. Colon even promises that though he lives in the gray zone when it comes to sports fandom, he’s loyal to New England. “I’m more Mass. than New York — because I’m a huge, die-hard Patriots fan and Celtics fan.’’ Notice he didn’t mention those Red Sox. Colon plans to arrive on Saturday morning for the free Mix 104.1-sponsored show, which will also feature Michelle Branch, Lifehouse, and Sara Bareilles, and Grace Potter. The Hatch Shell opens at noon.
