Actor Patrick Dempsey was in Lewiston, Maine over the weekend for the Dempsey Challenge, which benefits the Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope & Healing at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston. Maine native Dempsey, whose mom, Amanda, is a cancer survivor, was joined by fans, supporters of the cause, and Buckfield, Maine’s Laura Davis, who won the Amgen Breakaway from Cancer Award for her outreach.
