Two arrested in Hyde Park murders of woman and her live-in boyfriend

Two men are now facing murder charges for the July killings of the daughter of a retired Boston police officer and her live-in boyfriend in Hyde Park, authorities said today.

Michael T. Corbin is in West Roxbury Municipal Court where he may be arraigned today on two first-degree murder charges, according to Suffolk District Attorney Daniel F. Conley’s office.

Also accused in the Hyde Park murders is Earl Fulgiam, 31, who is currently behind bars in an unrelated case. Police said Fulgiam is in MCI-Shirley.

The two men are accused of killing Billie Kee, 24, and her live-in boyfriend, Kevin Thomas, 32, inside Kee’s apartment at 957 Hyde Park Ave.

Kee’s four-year-old son slept through the murders, which Boston Police Commissioner Edward Davis called a “drug-involved homicide.’’

Police said in July that four people were seen leaving the murder scene and that they dropped firearms to the ground as they fled.

Retired Boston police detective William (Billy) Kee told reporters this summer that he was so close to his daughter that they spoke as much as six times a day

The elder Kee said he did not know Thomas well, and he insisted that his daughter was an innocent victim of brutal violence.
