‘Dexter’ author Jeff Lindsay slays them in Brookline

“Dexter’’ author Jeff Lindsay drew an overflow crowd this week at Brookline Booksmith, where he spoke about “Double Dexter,’’ the latest title in the serial-killer series. In all, over 100 people attended the talk and while some had read the books, more were familiar with the Showtime series starring actor Michael C. Hall as Dexter Morgan.
