Mass. gas prices down a penny a gallon

Gasoline prices in Massachusetts have fallen a penny per gallon this week and are at levels not seen locally since early March, according to AAA Southern New England.

AAA’s Nov. 7 survey of prices in Massachusetts found gas averaging $3.399 per gallon, down down 1 cent from the previous week’s average price.

The current national average is $3.40 a gallon. A year ago at this time, the Massachusetts average price was $2.82.
