A new poll from Rasmussen Reports has Republican Senator Scott Brown and Democrat Elizabeth Warren deadlocked.
Warren leads Brown 46 percent to 45 percent, well within the poll’s margin of error of plus or minus 4.5 percent. Rasmussen, which conducts automated telephone polls, showed Brown with a five-point lead over Warren last month. The poll of 500 likely voters was conducted April 9.
Both campaigns have said they expect volatility at this point in a race that is projected to be among the tightest and most expensive in the country.
A recent Globe poll had Brown leading by 2 points, also within the margin of error.
