Jerod Mayo hosts benefit bowling tourney

Pats linebacker Jerod Mayo hosted his annual charity bowling tournament at Kings Dedham Monday, and many of his teammates were there to enjoy it. Mayo Bowl, as it’s called, raises money and awareness for Boston Medical Center and Pitching in for Kids, which helps kids across New England. Teammates expected to attend included Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski, Danny Woodhead, Julian Edelman, Brandon Lloyd, Jermaine Cunningham, Ron Brace, Patrick Chung, rookies Dont’a Hightower and Chandler Jones, Logan Mankins, Devin McCourty, Zoltan Mesko, and Vince Wilfork. . . . Interestingly, as the Pats were playing in Tennessee Sunday, “Curb Your Enthusiasm’’ creator Larry David was watching them while eating lunch at The Harp. David, who was also spied at Alibi at the Liberty Hotel over the weekend, is a hardcore Jets fan, but he didn’t seem to mind being surrounded by over 350 Pats fans Sunday. Might even make for a good episode of “Curb.’’
