Sammy Adams drops by Curry College

Massachusetts-bred rapper and self-proclaimed “Boston’s Boy’’ Sammy Adams stopped by Curry College on Wednesday to see Kiss 108 listener Sean Ahern, of Natick, who won a pack of tickets to see Adams’s Halloween performance at the TD Garden. Adams was the opener for the Pretty Lights show, which also featured New York electro-artist Eliot Lipp. Adams, who has a single out with pop star Enrique Iglesias, wound up greeting hundreds of his fans outside the Curry College Student Center. We assume that not everybody got tickets to the show. . . . In other music news, it looks like Sandy won’t affect Thursday’s JAM’N 94.5 Monster Jam at the TD Garden. Clear Channel guy Joe Mazzei assures us that there was “no drama’’ with the lineup, and that the night’s musicians — who include Trey Songz, Big Sean, and J.Cole — will show up as scheduled.
