Blue Hills Ski Area

Part of the Blue Hills Reservation in Canton, the mountain features nine trails over 60 acres of terrain. Just off I-93, I-95, and Route 128, Blue Hills is the closest skiing you can get.
Bradford Ski Area

With 13 trails and seven active lifts, Haverhill’s Bradford Ski Area is perfect for those just starting out with the sport. Bradford offers affordable skiing, lessons, rentals, and snacks at its base lodge.

Boasting New England’s largest snow tubing facility, Nashoba Valley and its attached snow tubing park is an ideal family winter destination. With 17 trails and nine lifts, Nashoba is one of the larger resorts close to Boston.

Wachusett provides skiers and riders with the most terrain this close to Boston. However, that can mean you can expect long lines much of the time. Great for night skiing. The MBTA provides a service to the area on weekends.

Crotched Mountain has appealed to younger crowds by keeping its lifts spinning past midnight on weekends. Off the slopes, the resort always has some sort of entertainment or contest.
