Zagats honor 30 under 30 in Boston

Renowned restaurant raters Tim and Nina Zagat were at the Boston Public Library Tuesday for a party honoring 30 culinary wunderkinds, all of them under age 30. Among those receiving plaques at Zagat’s “30 Under 30’’ fete were James DiSabatino of Roxy’s Grilled Cheese, Marley Brush of Crema Cafe, Christopher Coombs of Deuxave, Joey DePasquale of DePasquale Ventures, Kristine Kish of Stir, Hillary Koloski of Cow & Crumb Baking Co., Tim Maslow of Strip-T’s, and Daniel Raia of Sweet Cheeks. But where do the Zagats enjoy eating when they’re in town? Nina counts Hamersley’s Bistro and L’Espalier among her faves, and also East Coast Grill, which she and her husband used to visit when their son was a student at Harvard. “Honestly,’’ she said, “when I’m in town, I just look up what neighborhood we’re in and I flip through the book.’’
