Before their Jingle Ball gig at TD Garden, British boy banders the Wanted paid a visit to Boston Children’s Hospital, which brought smiles to the faces of patients. There was no sign of the band’s biggest fan at the moment, Lindsay Lohan, who’s been spending time with Wanted member Max George. According to TMZ, Lilo (inset) was in town, having traveled to Boston on board the band’s luxury tour bus. (A source close to Max told TMZ that he “doesn’t want a girlfriend, and is a single guy . . . but doesn’t mind having Lindsay around.’’) At the Garden, we’re told, the hard-partying actress was hanging around backstage before the Wanted performed, and then made her way to the side of the stage to watch them. Meanwhile, Ed Sheeran, who was also on the Jingle Ball bill, headed over to the Red Room @ Café 939 after his set, where the ginger-haired singer-songwriter surprised patrons by joining Passenger on stage for his song “My Heart’s on Fire.’’ . . . While all that was going on, British rockers Graham Parker and the Rumour were rocking the sold-out Wilbur Theatre, where we spied Urge Overkill’s Nash Kato squeezing out sparks.
