Gabrielle Hanna stepping down as head of Provincetown Film Society

The Provincetown Film Society is looking for a new leader after Gabrielle Hanna announced Wednesday she is stepping down after 10 years as executive director (and 13 with the group overall.) In a statement, the PFS credited Hanna for growing the Provincetown International Film Festival and helping make the PFS a well-regarded arts organization on Cape Cod. Said director John Waters, a PFS advisory board member: “Gabby Hanna was a fearless executive director whose humor, hard work, and relentless pursuit of financing, good programming, and solving the everyday problems of running a film festival will be forever appreciated.’’
