A tractor-trailer rolled over on Interstate 495 South this morning, spilling aluminum across the roadway and snarling traffic, State Police said.
At 11:40 a.m. the truck rolled over as it took the Interstate 93 ramp onto I-495. The right-lane crash left only the left lane open for traffic, said Trooper Todd Nolan, a State Police spokesman.
As of 12:45 p.m., the middle and left lanes were open and the aluminum was out of the roadway, said Nolan.
The ramp from Interstate 93 will be closed until workers can right the truck and remove it, said Nolan.
No one was injured, said Nolan.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation by State Police, said Nolan.
