The Revere Hotel has a little something for anyone looking to be romanced this year. Choose from four V-day-themed packages: “Little Black Box,” “Midnight Ride,” “Revere Your Sweetheart,” or “Screaming Orgasm,” which includes a mixology lesson with bartender and author Kirsten “Kitty” Amann, creator of the book “The Screaming Orgasm: 69 x-Rated Cocktails,” who will help you and your special someone create your own “X-rated cocktail.”

‘Love Songs and Tangos’ at First Church
Join the Chamber Orchestra of Boston as baritone Paul Soper presents a variety of romantic songs and internationally-acclaimed tango dancers Armando Orzuza and Nuria Martinez hit the stage. Plus, stick around post-show to savor tapas and sip wine as you mingle with the performers.
‘Proposals with a Popover’ at Farmstead Table
Farmstead Table owner and chef Sharon Burns is offering patrons a chance to propose through pastry. Simply bring in your ring and the staff will bake it into a popover ($3). A day’s notice is needed, so if you’re interested, give the restaurant a call. Note: Farmstead Table requests that you consult with your jeweler prior to requesting a popover. The restaurant doesn’t have experience with precious stones or metals and will not be held liable for any damage as a result of baking.
‘Naked at the Art Museum Scavenger Hunt’ at the MFA
No, this doesn’t require you to shed any clothing. Watson Adventures hosts a scavenger hunt designed to uncover the various forms of nudity featured in works of art at the Museum of Fine Arts. “No knowledge of art, or nudity, is required,” according to Watson Adventures.
‘A French Baroque Valentine’ at Jordan Hall
Looking for a more classical spin on Valentine’s Day this year? Boston Baroque presents Marc-Antoine Charpentier’s “Te Deum” and Jean-Philippe Rameau’s opera, “La Guirlande,” with soprano Amanda Forsythe, haute-contre Lawrence Wiliford, and baritone Andrew Garland. And, in honor of their 40th anniversary, Boston Baroque launched its “Improper Baroque!” series with “Improper Bostonian” magazine this year, which means the concert also includes a free cocktail party for the 40-and-under ticket buyers before the performance.
‘Love Actually (not actually)’ at the Davis Square Theatre
Is it true? A reunion of the “Love Actually” cast? Well, kind of. The Boston Babydolls, accompanied by singer Alissa Coates, will perform a burlesque variation of the romantic comedy, which includes a striptease duet, romantic ballad serenade, and juggling extravaganza with flaming clubs.
‘My Cherie Amour’ Valentine’s Day dinner at Bella Luna & The Milky Way
Bella Luna Restaurant is hosting a special three-course “My Cherie Amour” Valentine’s Day dinner, inspired by the tunes of Stevie Wonder. The dinner will feature an Amuse Bouche, followed by three “seductive” courses. When you’re done, head over to the Milky Way Lounge for a V-Day DJ dance party.
‘Senn’ at the Somerville Theatre
Why not take in a movie with your special someone this Valentine’s Day? “Senn,” an independent sci-fi film, is playing at the Somerville Theatre on Valentine’s Day as part of the Boston Sci-fi Film Festival – and the filmmakers will be there as well.
