It hailed in Boston today, and it feels like it will never be spring

First April snow, and now this.

April showers bring May flowers, but what about April hail?

Boston’s spring already started off slowly with some snowfall, and now residents (including Susan Tran, a reporter at WHDH-TV, below) around the city have reported seeing a small hailstorm.

Luckily, the storm was brief—as Mark Twain once said, “If you don’t like the weather in New England now, just wait a few minutes.” Don’t put your knitwear away just yet, though—it might snow this weekend.

Will it ever really be spring?
