Massachusetts is in for some snowy weather this weekend.

Meteorologists are predicting the Bay State will see a few inches of accumulating snow and ice on Saturday.

The National Weather Service is forecasting that light snow will begin in the morning and change over to sleet and freezing rain by Saturday night, potentially causing some impacts to travel through the evening.

“The heaviest of the precipitation will occur Saturday afternoon and evening,” the service said.

The coast is expected to mostly see rain, but interior parts of Massachusetts could see between 1 to 5 inches of snow or sleet, according to the service.

Below, seven maps predicting how much snow and ice the state could see from the storm.
