The National Weather Service has updated its outlook, and one thing’s for sure: it’s gonna pour.

On Tuesday, the NWS issued a coastal flood advisory for all Massachusetts coastlines and expanded its flash flood watch ahead of a mid-week storm. They said that the area could expect the majority of flooding to take place during high tides on Wednesday.

The flash flood watch was also expanded to include Rhode Island and southeast Massachusetts.
