A blend of clouds and sunshine rules the afternoon and continues into what I suspect will be a great evening. Temperatures are comfortable and humidity is low and this is the trend all weekend.
Highs will be average or just a bit cooler than average this weekend. When I think about the weather forecast for you during the weekend I suspect there are really not too many variables you need to know. How much sun, how warm or cold and is it going to rain? You might also want to know the tides and the sunset as well as the wind forecast.
Temperatures this weekend
It’s going to be a seasonably warm weekend, but perhaps a bit cool for some of you. The two images below show high temperatures across the area the next two days.
Saturday will have more sunshine than Sunday. Sunday afternoon will tend to increase the sun somewhat over the morning.
Any rain we do see will come late Saturday night and early Sunday morning. Here’s a look at total rainfall possible this weekend. We aren’t looking at much at all.
Wind is going to be West or Southwest this weekend. Winds and seas will be generally light.
Length of daylight and tides
The chart below shows when the sun is going to rise and the tide information for Boston. The tides are similar for many other beaches, but check your local tide chart if you need more specifics.
I’ll be updating the forecast @growingwisdom on Twitter.
