Map: Here’s how much rain Massachusetts will get this weekend

Parts of the state could see up to 3 inches of rain by Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

Massachusetts residents should be prepared for widespread rain over the weekend.

The National Weather Service said Friday morning that parts of the region are facing an “excessive rainfall outlook.”

“Expect some locations to reach near 2 inches by Monday morning,” the service said on Facebook.
