UPDATED: It’s no nor’easter, but the Boston area is expected to see more snow this weekend.
The latest National Weather Service forecasts expect less than an inch of snow to fall in Boston, starting Saturday evening and continuing until 2 p.m. on Sunday.
The precipitation should begin as “scattered rain and snow showers,” meteorologists wrote in a forecast, adding that “brief bands of heavy snow showers are possible” later on.
Roads could become slippery, especially between 10 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Sunday, meteorologists warned.
