Expect more sweltering heat today.

The National Weather Service is forecasting that with the humidity it will feel as hot as 103 degrees in parts of Massachusetts on Thursday. The service has issued a heat advisory for most of the Bay State, which is in effect from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Some relief may be possible this afternoon and evening when isolated rain and thunderstorms are possible.

In Boston, the chance of the storms is predicted mainly between 1 p.m. and 11 p.m, according to the service’s seven-day forecast.

“A cold front will move across the region this afternoon and evening, bringing showers and a few strong thunderstorms,” the service said. “Seasonable temperatures and lower humidity arrive on Friday behind the slowly departing front, then a touch of fall this weekend with below normal temperatures.”
