With Saturday’s winter storm in the history books, the National Weather Service has released a map of the snowfall totals throughout the state.

While the service had predicted Boston could see 4 inches of snow on Saturday, it appears the city fell just short of that, with 2 to 3 inches recorded. Predictions were a bit more accurate in communities just south of the city, which were projected to see 4 to 5 inches of snow: 4 inches were recorded in Randolph and 3.3 inches in Pembroke.
