Tuesday’s forecast predicts cooler, rainy weather

Between a half-inch and one inch of rainfall is anticipated between Tuesday and Wednesday morning.

A soggy start to the day, had some using their umbrella on Hanover Street on May 14.

According to the National Weather Service, Tuesday will bring a dip in temperatures and a rise in rainfall. Clouds will build over New England on Monday night, gearing up for showers that are expected to begin around mid-morning. Tuesday’s warmest point will be at its start, with temperatures in the 50s and low 60s. Heading into the afternoon, however, those are expected to lock into the low to mid 50s. There is a possibility of thunderstorms at night, but the precipitation should subside by Wednesday morning.
