Boston will wake up to drier skies on Wednesday morning, but it won’t last long. Clouds will take some time to break up early in the day, but there is a chance of sunshine before the next round of showers move in. By late afternoon, the National Weather Service expects rainfall to start up again and continue into the evening. Thunderstorms are not anticipated. The showers will move out to sea overnight, so some precipitation may persist across the eastern half of Massachusetts late Wednesday night.
