Some showers will stick around Thursday morning as Wednesday’s storm system slowly but surely exits the region. Although it should be gone by noon, there’s a chance for some rainfall and thunderstorms in the afternoon, especially in eastern Massachusetts. Temperatures likely won’t be as warm as Wednesday, but highs will still reach the 70s and bring along humidity. The air will cool down at night, with evening temperatures in the 40s and 50s.
