Rainfall and possibly some thunderstorms are expected on Tuesday as a warm front enters New England. According to the National Weather Service, Tuesday is the most likely period for showers in the region. Totaling an anticipated one half to one inch, the rain should peak in the early afternoon and decline from west to east as a cold front moves through southern New England in the evening. While there is thunderstorm potential, the service notes any that do occur would not be especially strong. Tuesday’s clouds and showers will also mean lower temperatures, with noticeably increasing humidity transitioning from day to night.
